When I began to create the design, it was with the intention of having furniture more mobile, and getting it off the ground. Designed as an interior piece, I also wanted to create something, which by its ability to move, would be organic. I tried to impart a sense of nostalgia, something that would create a comfort zone. Aside from working with strong positive and negative space relationships, I pulled into it an idea of ancient hebrew letters. This is more apparent from a side view.
